Green remodeling is a project that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and enhances the value of buildings by increasing the energy performance of existing buildings in order to present pleasant and health residential environment to residents.
As of 2018, buildings that are more than 15 years old take up 75% of the entire buildings. These buildings have poorer energy performance compared to buildings that have recently been constructed so due to severe energy waste, green remodeling is no longer an option but a necessity. Based on such timely background, the Green Remodeling strives to pioneer green building culture.
By proposing element technologies for energy efficient green remodeling that is differentiated from the general remodeling, enhancing energy performance through energy efficient remodeling and quantifying economic feasibility, R&D on green remodeling and technical consulting that maximize the energy performance with minimal cost are provided as support.
