What is Building Energy Efficiency Grade certification?

Grade system for expanding demand for buildings with high energy performance and for encouraging awareness on effective building energy management by providing quantitative and objective information concerning building energy performance

Subject of certification

Construction pursuant to 「Enforcement Decree of the Green Buildings Construction Support Act」 Article 12 Paragraph 1
- Building satisfying the indoor air-conditioning and heating temperature setting conditions (More than 1/2 of gross floor area)
- Building with air-conditioning or heating area being more than 500㎡)
- New construction, re-construction and extension of building (Subject to submission of Energy Saving Plan and with gross floor area being more than 3,000㎡)

Certification procedure

인증절차는 신청인이 에너지효율등급 설계도서 및 신청서를 작성 후 20일 이내에 수수료를 납부하면, 인증기관에서 인증평가(본인증 시 현장심사)에 들어간다. 그 후 인증서 및 평가서를 교부하면 인증서를 취득할 수 있다.

건축물에너지효율등급 인증을 안내하며, 등급, 주거용건축물(연간단위면적당 1차에너지소요량(kWh/㎡년)), 주거용 이외의 건축물 (연간 단위면적당 1차에너지소요량(kWh/㎡년)) 항목으로 구성된 표입니다.
